Default helmet security

Perhaps a dumb question for all of you. How do you securely fasten your helmet to your bike when you park and leave it somewhere? I know there is the under the seat system but that is a pain in the butt. I found a system at Twisted Throttle (helmet guardian), but dont think it will work with my competition werkes fender eliminator. Heck, I cant even slide it on the mirrors as I removed those and installed the CRG Arrow mirrors (which I love by the way). I would love to find a way to easily lock my helmet to the bike as I dont feel great walking away leaving an Arai helmet for someone to snag, or carrying it everywhere. Any ideas here would be greatly appreciated.

There's gotta be something that would slip under the bolt between your seat and tail fairing, but personally, I just use the factory loops. On my 2007 I loop them through the helmet Dring, then through the seat latch... this shortens the length so the Dring isn't hanging on the paint.

What year bike do you have? Might make a different.

Oh, and i have 2 helmets. One that is daily lock and leave helmet... may get bumped/kicked/etc.... and then my nice helmet for trips when i can keep it with me (either take it into restaraunt, into work, or not going in anywhere).

The best way I've found is attaching it under the seat. It may be a PITA but they made the helmet lock for a reason.

I've heard of other people bringing a rubber coated bike chain to lock their helmets up.

Unless I'm in view of my bike and helmet at all times, I will bring my helmet with me. I don't trust asswipes around my bike

Its a 2010 ER-6N and I have been carrying it with me when away from the bike, but was wondering if any of you had come across other alternatives.

I rarely leave the helmet with the bike. I take it with me 99% of the time. If I do leave it I use the helmet hook under my seat cowl, and that's only if it's going to be a short while.
