Default my ex650 wont go into nuetral

I shift it into neutral then when I push it forward it clicks into gear. Can't get it to stay in neutral. Would clutch switch or Kick stand switch cause it? I don't have eaither of them.

No neither of your switches would cause this. Sounds to me like you are shifting it lower than neutral.

Probably just a question of developing a feel for the box, but the bike has a positive neutral finder. Shift into first and ensure that the bike is fully stopped before shifting from first to neutral. Under those conditions it should make a secure engagement of neutral. If it doesn't you might have a mechanical problem with the shift mechanism.

What do you mean you don't have a kick stand switch? Did you remove it?
