the title is junk and i dont want to put 1000+ into forks to come out with a bike that will sell for no more then $1800 once fixed and issued a rebuilt title. It seems like I am on my own with this... Thanks

You never mentioned frame damage or title issues. So...

By the way, whatever monstrosity you're trying to create would be worth less than a salvage title EX650.

Ya you never said other stuff was also damaged so bad that the bike was totaled. There is a big difference between bent forks and a totaled bike. You could probably recoup more money by parting it out than anything else.
