Default 2012 650 Ninja forks

We have a 2012 650 with front end damage. We need to replace both forks, none of it is salvageable. We want to find a used set but need to know which forks from what years and what other kawies will fit. Anyone know or know how to find out?

Thanks,

Jay

pretty sure all the 650r gens use the same forks. i dont recall them doing anything different to the suspensions throughout.

the 2012 models benifit from a slightly longer stroke (just a few mm) and revised dampening.
I sure you wouldn't have problems fitting a set from the previous generation, a quick look and comparison of the part numbers would help identify any areas that could cause a headache come fitting.
