Alright Guys,
Past few weeks on start up, Its been gashing out steam (i think anyway) on a cold engine.
first 10 seconds or so theres nothing, then for a few mins it comes gushing out until the engines warmer.
Is this normal for the er6? Its getting pretty cold over here so im guessing it probs condensation but just want to double check
Hasn't had a oil and filter change for over 3000 miles so hopefully get around to that this weekend!

Steam (condensation) from the exhaust as you describe is normal for most bikes and cars.

If the bike is used regularly and not used for short cold start journeys the book oil change interval is 7,500 miles. It only needs to be less in extreme conditions or on low mileage (less than 7K miles as year) bikes. Kawasaki told my dealer that in fact the 4K service (inspection only and no oil change) could be repeated at 8Kmiles with the oil change delayed until 12K as long as it was done at least once a year.

Wicked, Pretty surprising on the oil part! Bikes been on its side a few times haha so probs a good idea too keep everything fresh.
