Lowering Kit question on 2012
Anyone have this? If so how do they like it? how does it change the ride? Where did you buy it and how hard is it to put on?
Sorry for all the questions, I am curious because it looks good but dont wanna dislike riding it.

It alters the leverage ratio on the rear shock, so you might need to change the spring and damping rates.
Unless you drop the front yolks down the forks you alter the head angle, which makes the steering slower. If you do, you reduce the ground clearance by enough to take the fun out of hard cornering. You might also need to shorten the side stand.
Generally, unless you're shorter than about 5'0" you're better concentrating on your slow riding skills so that you don't need to lower the bike.

It's going to change the way the bike handles and rides, looking good always isn't the best for the rider.

26 mate still on toes with lowered seat I don't have a problem with this as I've never planted both feet on any of my bikes
Suspension is usually the issue
