I've got a 2011 ER6N and I was just wondering if anyone knew to hand what the headlight bulb is?

I'm looking to get a brighter bulb without converting to HID.

Could anyone recommend a bulb?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply but do you know the size? H(what)?

I've read online H7 and I've also read H11?

Thank you.

Vote for Philips Extreme Vision, get H11 type bulb for your bike.
It's has almost the same color light compare to stock bulb but much more brighter, carefull with bulb with whiter light, whiter light not always brighter, it just looks cooler but it will give you bad vision in bad wheather.

Sorry for the 3 year old thread bump but I figured it was better than starting a new thread.

So I have a 2009 ER-6n and was wondering if anybody had switched the H11 bulbs to H9 bulbs? Its 65w for the H9 vs 55w for the H11. I did the switch on the my truck and it made a noticeable difference. Will the stock wiring and charging system be able to handle 10 more watts per bulb?

Check out superbrightLEDs or OPT 7 LED options. You will not be disappointed. Less power usage, more light, hardly more expensive than halogen equivalents. They are, however, illegal in some areas. I went with the Opt 7 LEDs and holy crap are they brighter than stock. Despite what you may have heard, HIDs are near obsolescence with their high energy usage and cost. LED is the future of lighting.

Less power usage, brighter and more usable light, AND those retailers have a warranty. The fitment did require slight modification, as the LED has a significant supportive cast behind it, but was well worth the added effort. I've read the SuperbrightLED options do not require modification if that is a selling point for you.
