Leo Vince GP Style exhaust review

After selling my Two Brothers can I reverted to the OEM exhaust for a while before carefully choosing a new slip on. I was rather frustrated with it not so much because it sounds like a sewing machine but mostly because it couldn't mask the buzzing noises at 4000rpm. and the extra weight was quite noticeable too.

My new choice is this:

LeoVince

Almost 5 kilos lighter, officially approved and with an extra curvy mid section and chamber it's like buying a mid pipe along with the slip on:

It also looks the part, not so much as the TB which was like the perfect choice aesthetically speaking, but it is a pretty addition to the overall look:

From the first seconds one can understand that this exhaust was tested and developed specifically for our bike. It's like all the negatives of the OEM exhaust were removed with no side effects at all. Balanced and robust performance with better response and torque everywhere and sophisticated, deep sound that never gets obnoxious at least with the buffer on. Downshift blipping is direct and fun again with no trace of back pressure despite the considerable length with the mid section and the chamber. Top notch build quality/design/installation system.

Two Brothers VALE
Noise: 10/5 It's war! :grin2:
Quality: 4/5
Performance: 4/5

Leo Vince GP Style
Noise 4/5
Quality 5/5
Performance 5/5

So these are my first impressions, I will update this post after a few miles and days with my new exhaust :)

So final impressions after a few miles!

I have only positive comments about my new exhaust. It works fine even on the motorway with constant high speeds and it is very stable.

The longer Leo seems to give excellent low and midrange performance while the shorter TB was at its best at high rpm, it was virtually a racing - free flowing exhaust though so maybe this is just an illusion!

The sound never gets obnoxious in the city when shifting up at at around 4000rpm and it is more a sound than noise in comparison to the TB.

Powerwise, on road performance is pretty much consistent with the dyno chart:

The bike didn't turn into a ZX-6 all of a sudden and I don't know if I really gained a couple of horses, but I am getting more with every twist of the throttle and this is what really counts :smile2:
