can you guys hear your pump when your bike is running?

have a few ninja 06/07 650s, about to sell them. just noticed I can hear the pump running on them after I fire them up.
they all act the exact same. prime up when turned on, then stop priming. fire up no problems. run no problem. reprime when shut off with kill switch.

but I can hear the fuel pump when they are running. I was finishing one up today and I thought I had a problem with it. swapped ecu, fuel pump, ignition, relays, with 3 different bikes. could still hear the pump. then swapped all the parts onto another bike. could hear it on that one too.

so now I am wondering if you can always hear the pump, but just don't notice it.

anyone else got any input? can you hear your pump too?

Hi there, I am bit paranoid about all mechanical or not sounds coming from my bike and I thought I was alone:grin2:

Yes, I could hear the pump working among other sounds when I had the OEM exhaust still on and I can still hear it when kissing the tank with my helmet out of the air stream.

I guess it's normal then, like the Kawa clicking sound and the usual intake howl.

How many miles already on the clock?

Im guessin its all good. I rode the bike around for a few days, sold it, never heard a word from the new owner. I picked up a 2012 that needs fairings. clean title. 9k. 500$. lol. keep these 650s rollin in. Currently fighting with a 07 10 front end to get it to work. But I am reading the clip ons with bang unless you get risers. I am thinking maybe 929 ones would have enough rise. i dunno. I may nix the idea and go all stock and just get paid.
