I am actually going to try these out today. I will let you know how it goes tomorrow after I test them at night. Decently cheap with good reviews so I am hopeful.

They're all bad. LED headlight retrofit bulbs don't properly simulate a halogen filament. Only one that comes close is Philip's Ultinon, and that only comes in an H4 pattern.
Better bet would be to retrofit a Bi-LED projector.
So here are the pictures of before and after. They are quite a bit brighter than stock. I still need to test in full dark though so I do not have those pics yet. I was thinking about changing the corner lights, but I like the contrast it brings.
So what did you think about the conversion? Do you have any tips about the install? Would you do it again? What year is that ninja? Does it have the funny slot like thing in the headlight? Mine has a slot that the light from the bulb comes through.
No offense, but that LED beam pattern is no good, and exactly why I think folks should shy away from those bulb conversions.
Note how the halogens have a clear cutoff.... that is there to ensure that you aren't blinding oncoming drivers, and to make sure you are putting all the light where you need it- on the road.
This is why I like projector retrofits... in low beam mode, all the light is where you need it and none goes where you don't. If you need more, you can flick the high beams.
They do make LED projectors as well, which have the advantage of a smaller driver, which is key on a motorcycle. Still, if you have a fairing finding a place to put a ballast is no problem. But the quality of the optics and beam pattern are very important and those LED bulbs are a mismatch.
Hi guys, are you changing the OEM lights because you are not happy with the performance or for aesthetic reasons?
I am asking because my bike is ten years old and I've never had performance issues with the lights, on the contrary the performance is amazing, especially the high beam.
Sorry GR, but that might be because of where you are in the world that you find the stock setup OK to ride with!?
Changing my setup on both my ER and now my SX was one of the best, safest and simplest upgrades I've made.
There are many posts on this and you'll find LOADS of useful info here for the ER-6f (It uses the same headlight module as the SX!) LED Headlight Bulbs
Sorry sportyaccordy, but the days of cheap aftermarket bulbs giving scattered patterns like your example above are over.
Spend a bit of money and you really do get what you've paid for!
I have some projector kits still left from the time I used to sell projectors and HID. Willing to let go cheap. You would need to purchase HID ballasts though as I do not have any more available. They can be had cheap from DDM or some Ebay seller, just need to make sure to get the 25W not the 55W as those will fry your wiring harnesses and blow fuses for no reason.
I put Opt 7 Flux beam LED headlights on the 650 and I would do it again! They take some doing, I've got a pretty detailed write up on it somewhere, but a huge upgrade over stock. All my vehicles have since been upgraded with their brilliance! Highly recommended.
