Guns allowed in bars in AZ... What's your thought
So i'm curious what's your thought on this issue?
I'm not sure if it's a law already there or it's still trying to pass through...
From what I understand
You're allowed to take a gun into a bar but you're not allowed to drink.
Bar owners will have the right to decide if they want to allow the guns in their location or not
That's all I got for now.. what's your thought...
I'm against gun's so I'm against this...
* My fears *
People like this (From another site)
I've carried concealed for nearly 20 years, even in bars and while consuming alcohol and I haven't killed anyone in a drunken shootout. But I have managed to stop a few arguements from getting really ugly. I suppose those of you who despise objects that enable self-defense would rather I had just let those people beat eachother to death with pool cues and barstools though.
I don't want these save the world type guys pulling out their guns to stop fights... What do they call these people vigilantes....

i carry a 45 every day.
i don't drink/drug...ever.
guns in bars are an incredibly bad idea.
i will never understand how a person can be "against" guns.
guns are an inanimate object, not capable of violence on their own.
but, we've been over this, haven't we.

i think its a good idea as long as its open carry. concealed should be illegal.

It's already legal here, and not an issue.

I should just go ahead and lock this thread now, we all know where it's headed. lol
My take...private companies are private. If a private business allows something that you don't like, patron a different establishment. Let the bars do it, make them post a sign advertising that they do so, and let people vote with their wallets. Done.

it's only illegal here if it's posted so by the front door.

I live in NM (open carry state) but not legal to carry a gun concealed or unconcealed in any place that serves alcohol. kinda crazy but that is the law here. Just have to leave it in the car.

But in and around drinking? I mean fine I don't like guns and know people that have some and don't get involved but you're telling me you're ok with people bringing guns into bars? I've seen enough fights in my life to know in a bar is a Baaadddd idea...
