It's seems to have snuck up on me. Taking my licensing class on the Friday track day, racing sprints on Sunday. This is at the track I'm most comfortable on, Texas World Speedway, so it helps calm the nerves...but I'm SUPER excited and even moreso nervous
We'll see how it goes

Thanks...it's been sooo hard to concentrate at work this week.
Everything is drilled for safety wiring, but it's still a little ways from being ready. I'm going to re-locate my rectifier tonight. Tighten the pinch / caliper bolts for the front wheel, then load up to make the 10 minute trek to the track. I'll be getting there about 1.5-2 hours after the gates open, so I should be able to set up camp in the paddocks where I want to.
Finish up safety wiring the front wheel, wire the kick stand switch to disengage, and go back home. Get all my shit together for the track day tomorrow. Taking the class and registering for races Friday, then racing Sunday! Can't believe it's already here!!!!

I think they should be pretty interesting videos. I'll be starting in the back of the grid and I run a decent clip.
Superstock C (600s and under) last year was 54 riders. Comparing their times to what I do at track days, I would have been in the top 5 (JUST talking lap times here...not passing, etc). Starting from the back, I'll be lucky to do top 15. Since there's so many riders, I'll be in the second wave. So I have to pass the 25-ish riders in my wave and catch and pass 10 more riders in the first wave just to be in the top 15....haha
Superbike C had 40 riders. I'd probably be in the top 5 then as well.
And like I said, this is going off purely by lap times. There's 1000 different factors.
Just hoping I can get through traffic easily to go play with the big boys out in front...and trying not to throw up in my helmet before hand.
