Trying to upgrade to a 600 or 750, only reason for selling so I won't take lowball offers.

- Puig Tinted Windshield [I have stock too]
- Lowered about an inch [I'm about 5'7" and its perfect, not on my toes when I'm at a stand]

Bike was purchased from dealer Island Powersports in Massapequa back in April with around 1900miles on it. Now it has ~2100miles, I barely put any miles on it. The dealer also installed the 2 brothers exhaust. Bike is in excellent condition except for a scuff on the right side of the bike; no dents, cracks, or anything broken. Bike was fully serviced when I purchased it so basically its set to go, nothing needs to be done. Next service would be at 3000 miles.

I'm testing waters here, so if you have a REAL & GOOD offer, then feel free to send me a message. I paid little over $5500 for the bike w/ exhaust and taxes so I would like to get as much back as I can. I also renewed the registration in June so its good until next year. You paid $5500 for it and it was used with 1900 miles on it? I wouldn't expect to recoup most of that cost. You'd be lucky to pull $3500 for this bike. GLWS though.

$5500 for bike + taxes + exhaust from a dealership? thats about right, but i'm in no rush to sell, not desperate for money so i'll wait and see, thanks.

Yes it is. Great bike, I just use it to go to the gym and run few errands, hence the low mileage.

Id like to get my wife a lil 250... For a used 2011 Id go in at 3k, no more. The 250s are a dime a dozen.

thanks for your input, but I think i'll wait, not accepting 3k for this. I have no problem waiting till next season.

Like I said, they are a dime a dozen, and 3k is market price. Tax and a slip on pipe translate into $0 at resale. That was a $3800 bike when you bought it, plus 300 tax and 400 for the slip on, so $4500... you paid a lot for that bike, money you won't recoup. Nice bike, GLWS, just being realistic.

So you put 200 miles on it and want to move up to a supersport bike..... with 4x the power...
My advice would be to stick with the 250r for at least 5k miles. Your learn more about how to ride and less likely to kill yourself when you do upgrade.
