There was an article a while back where Spies sounded off about it and how testing the riders at any time (as is a possibility) is rather stupid. If anyone was going to use anything like a performance enhancing drug they'd use it Sunday morning. spies got a test call in the middle of the week once as he was some of the riders who were selected to always have to make their whereabouts known. it's a pretty stupid policy if you ask me, as any 'performance' benefit would be marginal at best for anyone. It's really only beneficial for recovery hence him saying take it after QP or sunday morning. I'd bet you 50 bucks Stoner, Lorenzo and Rossi didn't have to furnish their whereabouts 24/7 to Dorna for the drug testing...

since it's an aussie production I think they were just alluding to his final lap at PI.

Perhaps, but I think they just fucked up and forgot Valencia is actually the last round.

In all reality, whatever Stoner does in Valencia will be irrelevant to him after winning PI this season. I think it'd be great if he goes out with another win or rostrum, but he's just gonna ride to ride and whatever happens will. Jorge's got nothing to prove or gain either so he's just gonna go ride and have fun. It will probably make for a very boring processional race, with the top 3 positions already known, and no one wants to risk injury in the race to jeopardize the first tests next week.
