Nice! You've waited long enough...you deserve some newness.

I kinda like that black chromish color on the exhaust

Well... I think with the plans I have for the '03 ('07 swingarm, wheels, brakes, newer suspension, and frame powdercoating), I wouldn't doubt that the 636 would be my "classic" daily driver, while the new 6R would have street and track plastic availability.

My '03 will be paid off in December too, opening me up for a new payment for something anyway. She's been good for the last 4 years, and hopeully many more.

This, I can gladly call my new b!tch.

I kinda miss the gun metal rims though. It would probably look good on this bike.

AH Great! You dont even have to drop the bike to get the cracked fairing look. I was hoping that they wouldnt go with the half ass fairings. Overall looks okay but it has lost that ninja look and feel to it.

I agree... I was originally hoping that Kawi would maintain the full fairing look.

it's funny to always see the negative comments when it's first launched, then couple years later is the best bike in the world, etc. etc. lol happens everytime, reminds me of the bmw airheads when inline4 came into play hah

personally i think it's a good evolution, they'll do good selling them better than yellow 08 that's for sure and *cough* 10r (2k discount from factory is pretty self-explanatory).

one observation i have regarding this bike's design, it mimics ideas from the CBR, GSXR, R6 fairings, now those bikes designs came out in (yamaha, suzuki 06, honda 07). now remember who was the last one to actually switch to FI? yep it was kawi as well. I'm glad they always have something better than the competition, like slipper clutch standard, but some things they just play catch up it seems.

It's a back and forth game. Every manufacturer has their little piece that comes out first. It's all a money thing. I'm sure Kawi could come out with the hottest 600 ever built, but making it affordable is the challenge. Case in point: They could have added a damper years ago, but have just now offered it stock
