Default Rifleman 1/5 throttle insert questions
1: Anyone know how to get in touch with this guy? You go on the website (doublezracing.com) and try to click "contact" and it doesn't work.

2: I know he makes an insert for the '08-'09 ZX10R...I assume that should be the same for my '09 ZX6R?

3: Has anyone had issues with the throttle cable adjustment after cutting the lock rings off? As in, does it lose it's adjustment often w/o the lock rings?

I've tried that zip tie mod thing about 3x's and each time I can't get the epoxy to bond to whatever the hell the stock plastic throttle insert thing is made of. I gave up on it! If I'm so inclined I'll either attempt the pvc route or just break down and get the rifleman one.

Yeah, I've tried a few different adhesives with no luck either

I've never had any issues with the Rifleman insert on my 10.

I had to cut about 1/4" of threads off one adjuster, and had to dremel out a little bit of metal on the inside of the cable housing.

i used super glue and it seemed to work fine still on. once you put the cable around it holds it in place.

i've zip tied every bike i've owned (minus the gsxr1k because the r1 tube was easier) i use super glue & i also heat the zip tie to help it form a bit better, then glue & then throw a thick rubberband over it till it cures
