Thread is full of people who shouldn't be riding if they can't keep their cool. Riding may make you feel badass but your no match for even the smallest 4 wheeler. You can throw rocks, kick/punch mirrors and windows, but any 4 wheeler that decides to retaliate (because they've lost their cool) can run you over and crush you with 1-ton or more of rolling metal and plastic.
As for throwing objects, the law treats it no different than discharging any kind of weapon. If someone were to get injured or killed, they'd be after you for it. No different than kids dropping rocks and stuff off of bridges.

Didn't get flipped off, but I did have someone toss firecrackers at me last night.
Saw it coming and realized what they were doing, so it wasn't that big of a deal. Would have scared the crap out of me had I not known it was coming.
Sure this is old news to everyone on here, but I've only been riding just over a week, and it's amazing to me just how many different ways other people on the road can be a hazzard.

Nobody is asking you to do it. I take it personally when someone tries to kill me with their car and doesn't give a fuck so I retaliate. I don't feel sorry for that guy just like he doesn't care if he hits me or he wouldn't be yakking on his phone and not paying attention. As for throwing objects...prove it. My word against his and there's all kinds of bolts/trash parts on the road.

You understand my point so do what you will.
His word against yours? More like your word against his and whatever witnesses come to testify against the biker they didn't care much for before the incident and hate even more now. Not even worth it to begin with if you ask me but gamble if you will, just remember when you decide the stakes could be exceptionally high.

I had a prick cut me off while I was changing lanes once, (one of those where the car they're tailgating decided to make a right turn last minute, so the douchebag puts his signal on while swerving into the next lane without fully looking) then proceeds to aggressively tailgate me. When we came to a stop I was furious at how close he was coming so I pulled in between lanes, moved back and asked him what the fuck his problem was. Said "You're going to need more than a helmet buddy"..I literally said "fuck off old man."
I was this close to getting off my bike and beating the shit out of him in the middle of the street.

And you understand my point.
I won't stand by and be a victim to an inattentive idiot. For every witness than can say he saw something, there's usually an equal number that didn't. Reasonable doubt is great. I'll take my chances. Look around, most people are on the phone instead of paying attention anyway, ALOT of people choose not to "get involved" so they wouldn't step up. When the diesel truck dropped chains from his tractor and took me out no one "saw anything" a most didn't stop, a few did, but most just continued on their merry way obliviously talking on their phones; but I do respect your right to do what you feel is best for you.

I wouldn't call it a Beemer thing, but just a prick thing. I used to own a beemer, and I never acted like a douche because of it.

there is a very simple solution to this. pack your axel nut removal wrench (usually a 32mm) and at the next light threaten the guy you will kill him. He will not bother anyone for as long as he lives, cuz he'll know, that day he crossed you he could have died. Besides you are making the world a better place. So please attach your large wrench to your bike and beat every mother fucker who dares crossing you. It is improtant that you only beat the shit out of those who are rude. People who say sorry can go.
