Is 20K miles is too much?

This bike surfaced near me. I'm looking at a few others, but might consider it. The only thing that turned me off is the mileage (20K). The guy is a motivated seller, and I believe I could get this bike for $4500-$4K. It's listed in the paper now for $5K, and he said he's pretty negotiable. Let me know what you think.

It's a 98. How much should I pay for that bike?

wow, that bike is cherry. If i were selling it, I'd ask for a Firm 7k probally. Hell, it's got a whole aftermarket suspension, and tons of other stuff that was done right. If this is legit, I'd say it's worth way more then 4 grand.

To answer the question, 20k miles is nothing if it's been taken care of, which it sounds like this one has.

20,000 miles is nothing. Mine didn't even loosen up properly until about 16,000 miles.

I've put many times those miles on it since then and have never had a problem with the engine/gearbox/clutch.

Those ZX7 Engines are proven. They'll last 800,000 miles easy.
