Nice to see a fellow North Carolinian. You find the good ones in the west, I'll find them in the East, and we'll go riding.
One of my favorites is in Troy, NC. It's the Uwharrie National Forest. Man, the roads are good, nice and secluded(just know where you're going because cell service is rare.)
Once you conquer Uwharrie, you can head a little farther away to my better favorite in Mouth of Wilson, VA. It's not far past the NC VA line, and it is part of the Grayson Highlands State Park. There are some NICE curves and you're on top of the world on Mount Rogers.
The great things about both places is the roads are kept up VERY well being that they are part of a state and national forest. Look into them man, you'll love it.
