My license plate is secured by clothes hangars because I'm too lazy to buy a fender eliminator. Does that count?

The dildo seat i bought from a member of this forum. The color was all wrong and didn't match the bike at all.

engine ice was a complete waste of my money. the "stock" stuff the stealership put in the bike when they assembled it did better. my bike actually ran hotter with engine ice. no matter, now. i have to use non-glycol based stuff now since i ride on the track so much...but i will never buy engine ice again

Back when I had the '03 600RR a friend who owned the same bike talked me into doing some stupid mod that was supposed to increase the ram air effect... Well, the end result was me doing 240km/h+ on the straight and the whole left side of the front faring on my bike exploding and hitting me in the chest/shoulder so hard they bruised. Never again.

What do you run in your bike now instead?

I got two jugs of Engine Ice for stupid cheap.... I flushed my coolant, and put engine ice in my 11' ZX10R. The thing runs fantastic with it in there, probably 10-15* F cooler than the green shit. I've also noticed that when sitting at stop lights in the Las Vegas heat, the bikes' temperature doesn't just go from about 180* - 230* really fast. It gradually rises, and then stays around 210-215* when its really hot out.

Now that the temps have dropped in the mornings, I'm on the hwy doing 80+ mph and the thing is dead stuck on 145* F. When I ride home, it hovers right at 165-170* tops.

i tried water wetter but i think it breaks down too easily. i'm happy with Maxima Cool-Aide. engine ice made zero improvements for me and was way more expensive than other options i am happy with. after riding around on it for a couple of days, i missed the green shit. that's just my experience.

Clip ons

After my wreck I bought some forks w/clip ons... no bodywork to worry about so that wasn't an issue. But I only had about <1000 miles of riding under my belt at the time. The first ride I had after my crash was with clip ons and I hated them. I think I got bars put on before I got home.

Now after ~5000 miles I do kind of want a sportier riding position. I'd be curious to sit on a 650 with sport bars. But I think I am going to get an SV which will come with clipons stock.
