I dropped my helmet from 3 feet up twice in the last 3 months. The first time it landed on visor part and rolled. The second time it hit chin part and rolled. I know it's not good to drop helmets as the impact padding/absorbers are 1 time use.
It's a KBC VR helmet, and both times it fell from my seat while attaching things in my tail bag, I think now I've learned to not put my helmet on my seat, EVER. Do you think this helmet needs to be replaced, or is it save for use around town (up to speeds of 75)?
I guess there is really no way to know for sure if it's damaged, so maybe I should fork out the $ and play it safe.

A 3ft. empty drop won't hurt a thing. They are made to absorb an impact with a 12lb. weight inside.
