Default on the look once again for another ninja haha.

this guy has posted three times on craigslist. there is cosmetic damage on the left, the left mirror seems to be bent or something. he said it also needs signals, do you think i would just be able to put flush mount signals in place. he said it runs mechanically fine. what if i was to just replace the left fairing i wonder if that would it look better instead of getting a paint job. i asked for more pictures. back tire looks pretty worn out. he also said it needs a new chain snd if he were to replace that he would also change the sprockets and the price would be firm. hmmm i dont know what to think of it. run ? 0r suggestions ?

Idk if it's just me not being that familiar with them, but it seems like those fairings might not be oem. It'd be worth checking out, you can replace that one fairing if they are oem. If not then your buying a whole new kit. As far as turn signals go, your gonna need to actually look at the bike and verify the wires are still there for you to attach to, if not then your going to be doing unexpected work. The tire, well that means he either likes to burn it down or he doesnt lean at allllll in a turn. as far as the chain and sprocket goes, you always replace them together so that they wear together, but thats only worth about 150 bucks for the cheap stuff which is what he will be putting on it. I cant imagine that bike being in good order, im sure he hasnt changed the oil, cleaned the carbs, changed the oil filter when it was supposed to be done. So up to you but I might pay 15-17 hundred for it.

Dude, start to keep all your potential bike posts in one thread.

The thing's junk. That rear tire's shot to shit. It's your first bike, and you don't know your way around them.

Do you really feel like having to figure out how to repair/change things as soon as you buy it?

Not only is the rear tire shot, it's clearly treadless on one part and has a fair amount of tread at the top of the tire. I'd assume he's been locking the back wheel, a lot. Do people actually stunt 250s though?

That thing has been thrashed. If you could get it for like $800 or so i would go for it. That clown is either trying to rip somebody off or is a complete idiot thinking that pile of horse cock is worth $2300.

The potential for unseen, expensive damage is too great to buy this bike sight unseen. If you are not experienced you won't know where to look. I'd advise you to continue saving up money for an undamaged bike.
