you cant fix stupid. i've seen some people do really dumb stunts on 250's. the ninja can be especially bad since it has just enough power to make idiots feel confident they can just fly past anything.

Off the top of my head there's the following Suzuki bikes that MAY be close to what you're talking about.
SV650
S40
C50
or
M50
Depending upon which one they were actually riding I'm thinking that I don't agree with anything you said in the first post about how they should start on a 250 and picked the wrong bike then crashed as a result.
It is scary to think that someone asked for venoms advice....in this case it sounds like they should have taken it. hope everyone is okay after the ordeal.

That was my first bike... that's a single cylinder, 33hp, belt drive, 5 speed cruiser making about 33hp at the crank and capable of about 130km/h down a hill with my 110lb ass on it. I'm pretty sure it weighs less then a 250 as well.
I would recommend that ANY day as a starter bike. To just about anybody... who didn't weigh over 400lbs.

Yea S40 is not a harsh bike. No less dangerous than a Ninja 300. The brothers would have crashed just as bad on a GV250, venom's advice would not have stopped the crash

They need to change the law in PA to instead of having to have just your eyes covered you should be required by law to have a helmet on. Main lifeline in a crash as to a the seat belt law in a vehicle.

you guys know how I feel about cruisers , those death traps don't handle well , maybe he hit the pegs while trying to lean and panicked .
if they would had listened to my other advice I had given them they would had been fine , which was go in slow come out fast , and keep your distance with the car in front of you , and more important , don't forget to lean ! he was probably afraid to lean to much and over shot the turn , and the brother behind that "chose" to low side probably locked the rear tire by using too much rear brake on a turn.

At the end of the day people are going to do what they think is best for them regardless of the opinion you gave and how accurate it really was.
