Well tonight I died a little on the inside.. My bike had an unpleasant meeting with a brush guard. Fortunately I wasn't driving my bike!
I'm sure people are wandering how this happened so here you go. I had just got done from working and was driving through town. I seen a couple of my friends in the local hangout spot and figured I would stop by and reminisce. Minutes pass and my buddy decided to head home, well I figured he had seen me park my bike on the side of his truck(keep in mind he has a Chevy dura max which is lifted so side visibility is almost obsolete). As he started backing out I was talking to my friends so I wasn't paying much attention as to what was gonna happen next.... Yes he ran right into it as he was turning to back out. All I hear is metal being scraped against the asphalt and I almost threw up. All I could do was stand there with my head In my hands hoping it was just a dream..

Well that sucks. All I can say is you should have picked a better spot to park and your buddy needs to learn how to navigate his big truck. I'm sure if he had used his mirrors he would have seen your bike.
Yeah I'm definitely parking way away from any vehicles next time. But he's paying for it so I'm not worried about it. Hopefully I can get some good aftermarket goodies now 😁
