Search ebay and kawasaki forums classifieds for replacement fairings. Lots of guys go with track bodywork and sell their street stuff.
Yeah, I'm going to get both fork castings power coated and already have the dealer ordering oem fairings. Going to order vortex rear sets, new adjustable brake lever and new bar ends, throwing on some frame sliders. That would of saved the upper half fairings, at least the bar end and lever.

Hey dude, sorry to hear about the accident. The damage to the bike doesn't look too serious, i certainly wouldn't go through insurance... those blood suckers take enough of our hard earned cash i wouldn't give em the chance to suck more out of me every year.

I trust the only thing you hurt was your pride?

Keep us posted on the rebuild.

Yeah wasn't too pride taking because I wasn't doing anything stupid like popping a wheelie and throwing the bike out from under me. stupid idea to take, just wanted get it out of the garage. When I get it back from the dealer, I'm going to throw it on the stands and start throwing the parts on it. I'll get pictures actively flowing in the post.

All this is just ADVICE because at the end of the day, you can do whatever the FUCK you wanna do.

don't be frigthen off because of this one incident, you just learn to do it differently now.

and those damages to me arent even fix worthy, my shit gets hit by parked cars enough for me to stop giving a shit in making it look pristine. if theres nothing mechanically wrong i stop trying to fix it.

It's powder coat, not power. They charge the metal and the powder adheres to it, then it's baked on.

Also frame sliders protect the frame, not the fairings. They CAN protect in a tip over, but they're called FRAME sliders for a reason. So many think their purpose is to protect the fairings; they're not.

Good on you for am having the funds for OEM fairings. I wouldn't have spent the money personally. Sell your scratched up stuff and make some money. Plenty out there will buy and repaint them.

Most violated KF rule: 2. - Post titles should be descriptive of the contents of your post. i.e. "Help with fuel injectors" instead of "HELP!!!!"
