Lightmode kit

Morning everyone, so I have a lot of free time to surf the inter webs out at work and I stumbled across something interesting. Has anyone looked into these Lightmode kits for your helmets that have been coming out of B.C. Canada? I've been doing a lot of research into RWC title 46 for traffic laws that would or should say if these are in fact legal or illegal but I have not been able to find anything on it.

I've even gone as far to ask family and friends within the law enforcement community and they haven't been able to give me a good answer on the topic at hand. I do know that California allows them because the rider is not considered part of the motorcycle its self but only as the operator, so I figured I would start asking around before I jumped the gun and bought a kit and started using it. I'm looking into this as a way to become more noticeable and try to help mitigate from becoming a statistic when riding season starts again, I know in my area here in Washington we had about two dozen car vs motorcycle incidents that either resulted in minor or major injuries to the rider.

Below in the post I will include a link to the Lightmode site for your pursuing pleasure, thanks for reading ladies an gents.

Idk if its legal or not.. BUT I WANT IT!! I live in AZ, and if i got pulled over for it i would argue safety and visibility. Honestly it just depends on the officer. Hardly any of them know the exact and specific law that would deem these "legal" or "illegal". I ride with an LED kit on the inside of my motorcycle which isnt exactly legal, except on private property, and all the officers i asked about it gave me different and generalized answers. As long as my lights weren't red, blue, flashing, or a combination of all of those (for obvious reasons), no police officer would pull me over or say anything.

Here in Texas, when I took the test to get my license the DMV Motorcycle Handbook actually recommended adding extra lighting to your motorcycle so that it would be more visible. :)

I say go for it! It does look cool, but it's really good for safety as well.

Well jus to give you all an update for here in Washington state, I've gone over all of RCW title 46.37 and there is nothing in it that says the rider can not do this. Now I am on the fence about what colors to use since here certain colors are reserved for specific use, like blue, red, white and green are for either emergency vehicles or tow trucks. Granted I've never seen a tow truck with green flashers, normally they are an amber strobe. I could see getting pulled over for questions or for exploration into doing some illegal or if I give them to pull me over like running it in strobe or speeding or anything else that would draw more unwanted attention besides the lightmode on my helmet. I think I'm going to officially pull the trigger on this and get it down before riding season really kicks off, I'm thinking about doing a two color combo to match my bike which is a red ninja 650r.

Its a done deal for me, I've just got to pull together some cash after I get back from Vegas this weekend then I'm placing an order. Still not sure what color or colors to go with, but I'm thinking white/red or red/white. I love my 08 ninja 650r, found it for sale on CL and got it for $2700 and it only had 4400 miles on it, it also came with a two brothers exhaust so I really didn't need to do anything to it. However, the guy did drop it and do some damage to the fairings which I'm wanting to replace with matching color red.
