Default How big are yours?

How big are your chicken strips and how long have you been riding?

I don't have any on mine.....but I have been riding for 20 years.

Now when I started riding sport bikes back in 2002....mine were about an inch to an inch and a half on each side. After a few track days.....I lost all both on the front and back.

It does take me a bit longer to get rid of them on the street, I have to go up to a road like Deals Gap, or Wolfpen Gap to get em off lol.

None on the back and about 1mm or less on the front. I have been riding since I was 16, 22 now. Having no chicken strips isn't always a sign of good riding however. You can get rid of them by pushing your bike to the limit with ability or by not getting off the bike enough and leaning it too far. That's a quick way to a lowslide!

+1 on what Quarkz said.... having no chicken strips means you are using the maximum lean angle of the bike. This shouldnt be done on the street. With a lean angle that crazy, it means you aren't off the bike enough. You need to get off the bike as much as comfortably possible in order to be able to go through the turn at the same speed with less lean angle. This gives more room to go faster, more stability, more traction and essentially more control over the motorcycle.
