I call my red ninja Phoenix, and only refer to it as a she. My dad and three brothers haven't made fun of me for it yet. I guess a red sports bike is so sexy, you can't help but to associate it with a woman.
My bf is weird. He knows I named it Swap but seemed to have forgotten the name and calls it Spanky on a regular basis. Cuz I ride the crap out of it and spank all the other wanna be/show of riders we meet for coffee on the warm dry summer nights.
Track is calling me for next season and he's excited to watch me succeed and kick those snobby rich people's butts on the track, showing you can do just as good with a 12yr old stock machine and don't need the newest bike with Ohlings suspension, full exhaust system and powercommander for fuel tuning.
Mine is a he. Cause he's a beast. Both my trucks are boys too.
I thought about calling it a she....but it just wanted to be a he.
I actually don't mind throwing my leg over a girl ;-)
I just got a Ninja 250 and I was debating between Kevin and Chloe. Both those names mean something to me. Well, I got her, and she is definitely a her. And yes, it sounds kinda bad when I say "I'm going to ride Chloe for a bit" but oh well. I guess I can't really picture myself calling my bike by a dude's name :/ lol
When I upgrade I'm hoping to use the name Rhiannon for my big girl bike. Awesome Fleetwood Mac song and Celtic Goddess. Winning!
