From my experience, girls who actually ride their own bike, I haven't really seen any on anything older then a 00 unless its the older generation that have had that one bike since way back when. Girls who are just passengers bitch and complain about the comfort level of the newer bikes, let me rephrase that, girls who don't know how to be passengers complain and prefer a cruiser seating to a street seating.

No idea how other girls do it, riding bitch for more than an hour a week.
There is like nothing to hold on, no tank holding you back, no handlebars and rather leaned upright than enough forward.
I just can't sit relaxed as passenger.
Did you guys/gals see, Honda is taking over the market in attracting female riders. New CBR500R or CBR500F (naked) and an Enduro version.

Welcome to the 600 club. Too bad you're so far down from ottawa.
I loved the Panigale but when I saw it in person at the Montreal bike show, I lost all interest. Looks ugly close up which is what I see of my bike most of the time.
Was looking into the 848evo but it's unbelievably disturbing to sit on. Track only machine.
I'm already set on buying a '06+ gixxer 600. Easy and cheap to fix once I put it on the track.

Thanks, ya it is too bad we're so far away, could always use a new riding buddy. FYI there's a pretty decent bike show in town this weekend, if you google Motorcycle show, Toronto, December you should be able to find details on it if you're interested in going.
Do any of you take your bike for long rides? Me and a few hundred bikes take a ride down to Atlantic City, New Jersey in May for a three days, (Friday- Sunday). We usually stay down AC for one night then ride down to Sea Isle and or WildWood. We skip Ocean City because it's a dry town.

I used to be a fan of the older bikes (2001 ZX7, 1998 TL1000, 2001 R6) but as I get older i lose patience with fixing them and not being able to ride. And there is a huge difference between my old TL1000 V-Twin and my RC8 V-Twin HUUUUUGGGGEEE lol. But I do like the 'nostalgia' of the older bikes so when I return I will be putting another ZX7 and TL1000 back in the garage, that way I can tinker with them and ride the RC8 and other newer bikes I get.
