Default California Scientific Windscreen

Naked Bike Nazis DON'T LOOK (especially BIOHAZARD), you won't like it!

This is for those who might want to tour now and again on the Zed. It gives you a quiet cockpit with way less tubulence than stock and no backpressure. Good torso protection as well. It's a serious windscreen that is aerodymically designed. It's also easy to remove for when you return and want look totally hip again :-)

That said, I think it compliments the lines of the bike as well as can be expected for its size and 'form follows function' design philosophy.

The pictures are of the prototype. Mark Lawrence, the owner of casci and designer of the screens has this additional comment.

"I'm considering putting a V notch in the lower nose, sort of like the stock screen. Perhaps like 2" wide, 1.5" tall."

Let me know what U think (constructive comments please).

Here's the link and some pics.

Default love it

OK, no, it's not as gracious as the stocker, but I love how it dosent' try to follow super techno lines. I will get one for long rides, something the stocker lacks, like the narrow seat.

Bikeazoid

P.S. I saw an ELN with a taler screen today that looked amazing, I wish this screen followed those lines, but the ELN has diffrent lines than we do.

It was only 52 here friday morning on my ride to work. I guess I need to move south.

I think it looks decent and may buy one for long rides. I wouldn't rock it around town though. I do about 70 on the highway to work and the wind isn't too bad. Not half as bad as the sportster I used to ride.
