Just got my Z900 performance and I would like to remove the baffle, but there's no screw and it seems to be welded (could be wrong). Any ideas on how to remove this thing before I start ruining the thing?
There might be room for a hole saw for steel (not wood), or several smaller holes with a normal drill bit.
I did this with my cruiser, then added a lollipop or eyebolt baffle to get back some of the power just above idle, and for a deeper sound, as shown in the link below:
