Last night I laid her down! I was doing about 95 and went into about a 30 degree turn. Not a big deal at all but there was 2" thick stick in the road that I clipped and it sent the rear tire up in the air. I managed to get it back down but but by the time I did I was headed straight off the side of the road. Locked up the brakes and eventually landed on my right side, came off the bike and supermanned into the gravel on the side of the road. Gloves are toast both palms are completely gone. Jacket did fairly well but wore through on my chest where I had something in the pocket but other than that just looked like a couple scrapes. Was wearing jeans but luckily it was cold and I had about 3 layers underneath that. Helmet did great but is pretty beat up. Im gonna have to look for a new one
.. Think I made it out of there fairly well but Im quit depressed at the amount of money im going to be spending to get her back into shape.. Fairings, Inner fairing stays, Probably just clean up that cover and paint it, Helmet, Gloves, Jacket......... so much money being a college student without a job. But well thats my story
