Caliper Paint?

The gold on my calipers is starting to fad and is really light on some spots. Thinking about painting or powder coating. Anyone do any radical colors? or have any luck on finding a gold to match oem?

Duplicolor has a line of wheel/caliper paint that I've used many times with good success. The line is "High Performance Wheel". If you clear coat with their clear and per their instructions, its pretty durable (for a rattle can paint). The coverage is good, and you get a lot out of a can.

They have a couple of metal flake colors, but nothing thats an exact match for OEM kawi colors. The gunmeal color is pretty close to the kawi color (the gunmetal color used on wheels). Their gold/bronze is much darker than the kawi gold on calipers.

The Nissin calipers on my 650 are painted with an engine enamel paint. I did that three or four years ago, and they have held up pretty well.

I used Duplicolor ceramic engine paint on my car's brake calipers about three months ago. It's still holding strong.
