From what I ahve heard it is a pain in the ass, the motor mounts have to be disconnected and the motor dropper a little from the frame as the tow outside plugs are directly under the frame spars and can not be removed without doing this.

The airbox and air filter are not hard, remove the cover, pull the filter. Unbolt the 5 allen head bolts in the air trumpet area of the box and then unhook the ram air tubes from the box and shove them into the frame then turn the airbox 90 degrees inside of the frame and then it will come out.

I would go voer to ZX-10R.net and register over there and do a search as it was discussed over there not too long ago.

Thanks for the tip.
So you think I should just let the pros take care of it?

I wonder how much it costs.

I have 10650 miles on.
maybe I should wait for 15000.

what do you think.
