Hey, what kind of gps are you guys running? Does it work well with the vibrations of the 14? Are they water, vibration,sand/dust and direct sunlight proof?

My Zumo 550 is just starting to go but gave me 4 1/2 years and 25,000 miles of problem free service, and I will most likely purchase the same one and highly recommend it.

Hey guys,

As I am a cheap baastid, and had one HP iPaq 220 and a Royaltec bluetooth GPS module lying around.
I hacked a TT software to the iPaq with Scandinavian maps. Voilá, works like a charm.
Have a set of ear phones, so that I can hear the voice assist inside helmet too.

Only thing is, the device is not waterproof.

Have tried to find a good soft casing for the device, with link arm to be attached to the bikes handle bar.
Ebay seem to have different casings, but not sure about the water proofing.

Hmm,

I could buy some of that magic stuff, what is promoted at Youtube. Nothing sticks to the treated surface.
