I got eyes on the 2013 today (unexpected as im in hawaii and the 2012's didnt get here until this paat march . The 636 looks nice. But i do miss the blue accent decals. And wasnt blown away by the gold forks and disc, imo it looked a little off. But still. Nice bike!

I just sat on a 2013 ZX-6R yesterday on the dealer floor. I would love to have one, but I am just not mentally prepared to write a check for that much money.

Unfortunately, I am firmly aware of that fact. Stupid inflation.


I had a string of four "new bike" purchases and have since moved into the "used" bike acquisition mode. Perhaps if I fall a$$ backwards into butt-loads of cash I will change my mind back to buying new. However, even at $12k new, they are still way cheaper than cars, and more fun.

I'm not so sure that it's inflations fault. I'd blame it on our economy. Our dollar has been weakening very consistently.

sitting on it felt exactly like sitting on my 09 .
fancy fork caps , traction control and optional abs- facelifted gauge & fairings
oh and 37cc more

still personally like the looks of the 09-12 better, except the paint schemes after 09 got a little too busy
