Hey guys, I currently have a 2006 Kawi ninja zx6r 636, I will be putting a deposit on the new 636 in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone has had any recent personal reviews on the bike ?? I've sat on it at the dealer and i must say its extremely comfy.

In terms of riding the actual bike, can anyone chime in on that ?

Yep if i were getting another mid supersport bike i would jump all over that.

But time to get a 1000cc bike.
I may be looking into BMW S1000RR.
ive got 70,000kms that ive put on my 04 zx6r 636 and its time for a big upgrade.
Ive squeezed as much out of my engine as i can and its still pumping out good power but i need more now.

I hear the seat height is a bit higher on the 636. Is it considerably higher than last year's model? I'm only 5'4" but was able to test ride last year's model fine.

Both the 2013 and 2012 have exact dimension as far as the riding position is concerned. If anything I sat on the new one, didn't notice any difference.

yah thats correct, the seat height hasn't changed between 12 and 13.

It will be some time before i actually ride it because I'll be in snow when my bike is delivered, but i'll try to keep my word and update you guys on the power difference.

My 2006 only has 8,000 km's on it, so its still has lots of jump in it, i just wanted to get a brand new bike

From my understanding, the 2013 636's seat it tapered in a bit more in the front, allowing your legs to be more inward, this giving the feeling of the seat being lower. I'm 5'6" and after sitting on a 2012 zx6r to a 2013 636, at a stop I'm at the balls of my feet where the 2012 are my toes.

That's incorrect. The rear shock is 25mm longer so the seat height on the 2013 is higher.
