oh. put a main relay in the harness today to route main power from the keyswitch. in the electrical control world it's referred to an MCR or "main (or master) control relay". made an aluminum mount to bolt it to the valve cover next (kinda) to the fan relay i installed over the winter. the mcr will keep the harness from burning up more and keep all that current (upwards of 12-15A) out of the keyswitch.. which is already a weak link.. and mine especially is a weak link since the age of the bike and the usage and all has taken it's toll on the contact board.. it's broken in 2 places. i tapped off the white for a relay control power loop and hooked that up to the white on the keyswitch so the bike systems act normal. still got lights and 6V gray wire feed and al lthat sourced from the keyswitch.. i just routed the brown and white wire's power to a remote switch (the relay)

works out nice and makes a cool click sound when turned on.. lol

i'll get pics soon probably.. its almost time to fire this thing up for good and get it on the road. got a new battery today and got fresh repsol oil in it and a filter. lots of little things left to do tho, but alot of the major shit not pertaining to the turbo build are done.

once i get my fairings back from the fiberglass shop and get a few things her n there, the bike otta be damn near done... with the exception of finding a good and suitable turbo and doing that build.

yay!

yo whitey, about fucking time, brotha.

if you can get your hands on the little 12v backup battery in some mercedes, they work awesome. fully sealed gel battery. i've had mine for over 3 years now, no probs. been completely drained a few times, but still works great. just a tip.

Hmm.. NOW you tell me!! i just bought a new battery today. lol very interesting tho.. i'll keep that shit in mind. lucky you tho.. you got da hookup on the M-B shit.. lol

i think thats an AGM battery as well? i hear those are baller. i got a good battery tho.. the yuasa shits..no wakl mart deal or whatever this time.. figured if ima build this shit up and ima take THIS MUCH time to do al lthe shit i'm doing to it, i might as well do everything right from the start and use good stuff.. not ghetto shit into operation like i have in the past. all the relays and shit i'm using are sourced from a BMW 325i. the CF i used came off a VIS carbon fiber hood. the other shit.. well, if i didnt make it, so far it's either correct stock shit or top-notch components made for the bike.. i really want to be able to race AND show this thing. that'd be kinda nice.

The gel batterie is the bestinvestment ive made to my bike. I went to gel when i added all the L.E.D.s and other voltage ACCs, Plus my bike stays in a shed(no heat) but i can go out there with it 18 degrees outside pull the choke and itll crank rigth up.. I have also left the bike sitting for month or more at a time without having to puta maintainer on it without problems.

fo rilla. i need to find a crafty way to put the pegs back on the back and still rock the RR exhaust hanger if i can.. if not, i already welded a brace in to hold the pipe up and support it off the right pegmount.. impossible to see and i can ITERALLY stant on the pipe flange and it will absolutely not move.. shit used to bounce around and look ghetto cuz i didn't have a bracket to hold the can. the can bolts to the flange so it's all good even if i don't rock the hanger.. i will figure a way tho. but i want pegs cuz i got alot of poosay lined up for the back of that thing.

shit will be done for now within a month.. gonna put it together and repaint real quick where it may need it, then when i start the turbo shit hopefully thing winter THAT'S when yous guys is gonna see some shit!

Ooo.. as fucked up as my license is, i got a "decent" quote on insurance.

$666. lmfao.

aint that some shit?

well, $666.65 to be exact.. but still..

the next place i called told me $2500.. ha. fuck that noise.

front fender is 100% mounted up.. all i gotta do is sand and painrt it. looks baller as hell.

gotta get the lights and stay next and either make the dude at the fiberglass shop finish my shit or learn how to do it myself and finish it my damn self then.. lol

slightly considering running that big Goddamn huge ass turblow i have.. just for fun. "M24" garrett with a .48 cold and a .63 hot side.

monster for a 750.. i could get the .61-housed TDO4-L to spin at idle just by filling the cartridge with oil and holding it to the back of the exhaust..(lol ghetto test) so maybe the .63 will work kinda half assed..

we'll see.. i'm just really anxious to get this thing at least ghetto boosted to shut the haters up around here.
