When you tune a bike with forced induction stay always under 12 :1 A/F. The best tuning is with A/F and EGT. With both gauges, you will stay in safe zone. I tune 11-11,5 A/F, because if i tune 11.5-12 A/F, my EGT is too hi when i do top speed run and where i live, i can do top speed anytime.
I follow your thread and your blower kit is freak. But remember that, the most important with forced induction kit, it's the tuning. Because the best kit in the world with bad tuning = blow engine.

My turbo on my bike is cheap mitsubishi TE04H-13C. It's a small turbo. My turbo story with my ZX9 is a very, very, long story. If i restarted my project, i will buy a Garrett GT2554R. But i don't restart my project with a new turbo unit, because turbo and carbs is not the best match. The best way is with a bike with injection system fuel. Until i buy a new bike with turbo kit, i continue to upgrade my kit at each winter, because i'm ''turboalcoholic''
I will give you one advise. If you don't mechanical and welder and you dont have a lot of time for made a kit, Don't Do This. Turbo kit is very hard to make and it's not cheap $$$. I think Maliboost tell you the same thing than me. It's not for discourage you, but when i strarted my tubo bike project if a guy with good experience in turbo told me this information i have now. I went with another new bike and i buy a kit. Because now many company built very good quality turbo kit for new bike. I'm sorry if it's not you waiting to hear, but i'm honest with you.

yeah if you want a turbo bike just go buy a gsxr1000 hayabusa or zx14, keep the zx9 to cruise with
between my bike and turbo setup there is probably 10 grand, another 5 grand in labor if i counted how long i worked on it, zx9, everything has to be custom, very time consuming, carbs are a tuning nightmare, with a new bike you use a laptop, with our bikes its tank off, carbs apart tank on, go ride, come back and repeat
it is nice to say i have one of the few turbo zx9 in the world, i can find 5 on the net, but that makes things hard
i saw a stage 2 turbo zx14 sell on ebay for 7200
swingarm, pistons, lockup clutch, 280hp on pumpgas 340 on race fuel
7200 dollars!!!
buy it done up or buy a kit unless you have lots of time and money, and just really love your zx9
