hogel, do a simple flow calculation based on your engine and the mods, then start to size your turbo off that.. if you get a tiny turbo that doesn't flow enough but may spool almost instantly ( like off a honda cx500) then you'll have no top end.

if you have a monster turbo that flows enough ( or more) it may spool at like, 10000 rpm..

the A/R and the flow rate of the compressor is the most important thing for proper sizing. a big trim (like a 60) T3 would probably be very nice for your bike.

here.. in case you need it..

At the end of bike season, i went a ride for testing a new support i built for my camera and my camcorder. I wanted to know what is the view and stability with the new support.

During this test/ride, i crossed a Viper on the road. I did u turn for know if the viper want to do some races with me and yes the viper guy want race with me.

I filmed some races, but it's filmed with my support camera and i don't know what is the quality angle view video i will make with my new support and the camera don't have steady shot. The video is little shaky and my EGT gauge hide the viper, when i'm straight beind. It's not my best quality video i made. Because it's not a planning race. But, i had some fun with the Viper.

Yes, i shifted part and full throttle open. My clutch grip very good. The red light is low level Water/Methanol. When my w/m tank is half level, the red light flash when i close the throttle after hard acceleration. The light stay on when i remain 1 liter.

My bike misse me too.

yeah, wish my clutch held a little better, its fine for what i've been doing, it does slip a little in 5th and 6th, I need to get a lockup in it and band the basket then its time to up the boost, what tire are you running now, i see it still slipped in first

mine usually will get traction in 2nd with 20 pounds of air in the shinko 003 ultrasoft, when i took it out with 40psi in it i was still loosing traction at anything below 120mph, the air pressure change helped, i can pull the front wheel off the ground on a good road now so it sticks pretty well

are you running a stock shock? I switched over to a hayabusa shock and spring, i was having trouble keepin the tire from hitting the bottom of my trunk, busa shock fixed that

I run with Dunlop Qualifier with 36-38 psi. When is cold he slip in first gear and sometimes in second. But when is warm day my tire grip on all gears and he doing a wheelie on 1-2 gears.

Yes, i run stock 02-03 swingarm and shock and work great with my +6 in. Thanks for the info for the busa shock.
