Default Zx9 headlight issue
I have a 2003 zx9r the headlights went out and will not come back on. I have power to the high and low beam relays but no power to the harness for the headlights. The pin for the city light and the blinkers have power and thats it. All the fuses have power and the high beam indicator doesnt come on either I need help. I dont know where else to check for issue all light but head lights are working fine.

I replaced both relays I found in the front behind headlights but they are both out still and the high low indicator does not work either

Replaced bulbs and fuse block still same issue did just notice the battery is not charging the tail lights went out well running and gauges stoped working any ideas?

I have a 2000 zx9r with the same headlight problem. replaced bulbs, relays, etc. finally, as a quick fix, I installed a toggle switch and wired it into the relay. Only have one setting. Not sure if it is high or low. Also, have to remember to kill light when I get off. Day time is the issue there several times I have forgotten to turn off light and battery went dead. a pair of jumper cables fit perfectly under thee seat. still, would like to have problem fixed so any help would be appreciated by both me and my battery.

Turns out the stator is bad the resistor inside went bad causing the lights not to turn on until bike is running.along with the stator itself is not charging

Head lights are on and working great stator wires were ripped apart due to previous owner crashing bike. Rebuild it under way and going good
