how much does our engine weigh?

i am trying to ship a zx6r engine by DHL to another kawi member but i have no means of weighing the thing. the weight restrictions are 150 lbs. do you think i can get the engine crated up and still weight less than 150 lbs, i am taking about bare engine here, no carbs, radiator etc. and it can be either a 98-02 zx6r or 05-07 zzr600. help me out guys!

Its deff under 150lbs, my block with no head or cylinder was 75 or so, so the whole motor shouldnt be more then aroudn 100lbs or so. Just figure shipping weight at around 130lbs or so to be safe.

thanks fellas! thats what i needed to know. i have been figuring it at the max weight of 150lbs to be safe, not sure how much weight the crating would add, surely not more than 5-6 lbs!

well its definitely under the limit, unless someone has been slipping me steroids long before i moved last week and had to manually take it out and put it into of my old and new basements....i would personally say around the 100lb mark but i could easily be wrong as im judging based on the claim my previous gf made about her weight being "just under" 100lbs
