nice set up michael.. I too will have to get a carb tuner 1 day but for now the ol atf works good enough for me.. Why do you need to do that at the start if all the 4 blue tubes are in there own section? might a stupid question cos i have never used 1 before

Aaron you calibrate the tool that way. Connecting the four tubes to one vacuum port allows you to set all four tubes the same. When you hook up one tube to each vacuum port then when you since the carbs you know you're getting equal vacuum draw in each cylinder. Hopefully that makes sense.

Yeah you use one cylinder as a reference point so you know all four tubes read the same. There are adjusters to allow you to adjust fluid height, so you hook up all four tubes to one vacuum port then adjust each screw on the tool to get the same reading across the board. Now that you've done that, when you hook the tool up one tube to each cylinder and adjust the butterfly valves you know they're all drawing the same vacuum.
