Default 01 ZX6R Fuel Pump Specs?

Can anyone help me out with what the specs should be for the fuel pump on a 2001 ZX6R? I have heard some numbers about the pressure cutoff, but haven't seen anything about the flow rate or anything. Does anybody have some detailed specs about the stock fuel pumps? Thanks

I've never taken the time (or had the need) to measure a flow rate....though have had more than one opportunity for it to pump fuel all over the floor. I'd suspect it to be ~ 3 lpm in a free flow test.

Even at race track speeds, you'd only burn 5-6 gallons per hour....say at Road america, I've gotten 18-25 miles per gallon at an average around 85-90 mph.

Mr Gasket make a low pressure mini fuel pump that is a less expensive option if you oem pump fails.

Ok, well that at least gets me moving in the right direction. Do you have any more info about the Mr Gasket pump you mentioned? I looked a bit on their site and don't see any way too look it up based on the bike or based on the specs

Mr. Gasket/2 to 3.5 PSI 42 GPH electric fuel pump for import carburetors (42S) | Fuel Pump | AutoZone.com

This is the one that i would use. LocknLoad used the same pump on one of his bikes before with good results.

But then again your haynes manual might tell you otherwise....

Thanks, this is at least getting me in the direction I need to be looking in. My Haynes manual just gives a cutoff pressure rating of 1.6 - 2.3 psi and no flow rate info. The Mr Gasket pump above has pressure range of 2-3.5 - is that close enough or might that be a problem? Also, 42 galons per hour seems like a lot - anybody else think that at all?
