a tutorial on placement of lights and type of lights used to light up the fairings would be a great help... i ran single leds through the fairing but the lighting isnt as good as I would like
I bought some LED's from Advance Auto and just wired them into a switch that I mounted on the battery box. It cost about $30 in parts and took an evening. Mount two behind the license plate facing forward. Two on the radiator top mount facing down and two on the fairing stay bolt (lower one) facing up. Then I put a couple facing down on the tire through the plastic in the trunk. I drilled a hole in the battery box and put a flush mount switch right behind where the reserve switch is. Sorry I don't have pics of the install.
Hope you're doing fine. The blue lights are a calling card for the police. I had a Fl state trooper cut thru a group of15 bikes to pull me over. I only got a warning but still his statement to me something like this" Blue light are only for law enforcement"
well in my state we r only allowed to use them when the bike is parked, I have 4 that I mounted right to the fairing but the ywere single one light led bulbs
I don't have any front or side fairings on my 07 zzr600 but I have my red LEDs on the frame right under the tank making it glow around my tank to kinda give it a spaceship look lol. And I have them on each side of my under tail.
