Looks interesting... my old 08 was pretty easy to take apart..well I find it easy as I have taken the bitch apart so many times... thinking of getting a replacement 08 (hit and run victim here) or a new 09...

Yeah, there is a rivet there. You need to remove that one to remove the fairing assembly. The lower one is for the headlight.

This really needs a sticky. Gotta find a Mod. to do it. This was a huge help as I tore mine apart this last weekend and cleaned the piss out of it.

I feel as if I should get a new fairing set that has less pieces to remove... it's not difficult to remove the stock pieces but if you tear your bike down monthly to clean it up real good like I do, you can see how frustrating it will become.

I know what you mean. I fought forever to get those damn fairings off. Glad I had this tutorial to help.
