Man I think I joined the club today. Couple days ago my bike started and ran without issue. This morning I decided to take her to work and it would not start. I checked the at rest voltage of my Speedcell battery and it measures 9.6v which correct me if I'm wrong means it's garbage now. But I believe the battery prematurely reached its end of service life. The only way I can confirm that is to purchase a new battery and measure the Voltage across it when it runs. Will see how that goes tomorrow. Need to borrow a battery from a friend first.
I did call up the local dealership Long Island Kawi and inquired whether or not the "newer" RR replaced under recall had any incidents of failure and they told me adamantly NO. So we will see what happens tomorrow when I check the bike with another battery.
