Converting a ninja 250 into a cruiser

Hi,
I know it's kind of a weird project, but I like the way my bike handles, and I don't want to buy a new one. Plus, I've only got 19k on it now, I should be able to get at least another 60-80k. >:)

I'm still planning it out, but I'm planning to bob it. Put together a set of custom highway bars with clearance lights and a provision for sliders. Install a teardrop style gas tank, moving the seating position to the back of the driver's seat. Then redo the back end with a sissy bar and seat that's more appropriate to having a passenger/luggage.

Haven't decided on colors yet, but I'm kind of a sucker for that marbled red paint job that you often see on cruisers. A bit of a pain, so we'll see if I do that.

You'll need to bring the pegs forward and lower the rear. Lowering would be pretty simple with a set of longer pull rods on the shock linkage, or a shorter shock. Best of luck.
