How to gain steering stability?

What can be done to a sport atv to make it more stable on dirt roads? Mine runs straight as a string as long as i'm cruising around, but when running half to full throttle it's a real fight to keep it in the road. I thought about trying to toe-in the front wheels and see if that helped, but i don't want to make it difficult to handle while riding in sand.

If your a-arms and swingarm are all fine and have good bearings then look into getting a steering stablizer.
