I can certainly understand customizing the bike you already have. Good on you for that.

On the other hand, I'm sorry, but this bike is gonna look gaudy as all hell. That rear wheel kit is more expensive than what the bike is valued. As far as "wow factor", from people who ride to ride and not show off it'll be "wow" combined with laughter.

Sorry to bust your balls, but you posted on an online forum where everyone can see it. Have fun with your project, and I hope it makes you happy dumping all that money into something to attempt to impress others with.

Most violated KF rule: 2. - Post titles should be descriptive of the contents of your post. i.e. "Help with fuel injectors" instead of "HELP!!!!"

I understand what you are saying but i have always wanted a bike to put into shows and stuff. I enjoy riding my stock 636 and I will never change it. The little bit of money I have put in this project is ok because me and some friends are building everything. plus the painter is a good friend also. I also knew that there was going to be some ball busting. but were I live it is all about the Harleys. I wanted something different so here it is.

Isn't the sport bike in itself dramatically different than a Harley

I don't know, by the sound/look of things you are degrading many aspects of the motorcycle that actually make it a performance machine. So if anything you are making it more like a Harley?

Eitherway, it is your project and if you are happy with it that is all that matters. And despite my personal opinion, I am interested to see the final product! So get some updated pictures up!

It's a showbike. Once the build is done, I see alot of trophies from shows down here in his future. I'm guessing it's a Regional thing.

LarryJ your an idiot stfu. Im a roadracer,I ride to Ride. I drive a 03 zx6rr on the street and an 08 6r on track. And you know what, building a bike this way i would never do myself! BUT this bike is gonna be pretty impressive for the genre dudes goin for. Ya know what i find retarded is a guy who drives a ZZR "sexhundred" and makes fun of other peoples bikes. (nothing against ZZRs , but this guys not doing much for ya) And yea i know, i know " its an open forum and everyone is entitled to their opinion...." but honestly dude just give your opinion dont be a penis muscle about it. you can go ahead and blast me back if ya want.

I think its cool its a 03-04 6 too. nobody does 600s in this style and they should more often. not like a busa or 14r is ever gonna fast after it becomes a show bike anyhow. Im sure a couple do a few high speed passes once a year but you know what i mean.

Anyway sorry to rant, Dude keep up the good work! Bike and paint look amazing! and keep updating im interested on it turns out!
